My Winter 2016/17 Favorites & Essentials

„Love and scandal are the best sweeteners of tea.“ Hey my loves! In today’s post I will share with you the things I wouldn’t be able to survive winter without. These are my absolute favorites & essentials. Enjoy! 🙂 1. Harrods Christmas Spice Black Tea ($12) I love drinking tea in winter. Especially loose leaf tea with a fine ginger scent. I mostly drink loose leaf tea because it’s much more intense than a regular teabag and because I am able to adjust the intensity of it. I bought this Christmas Tea at Harrods in London a few months ago and, for me, it’s the perfect winter tea. 2. Kiehl’s Facial & Hand Moisturizer ($47 & $18) In winter it’s most important for me to keep my skin hydrated and moisturized. I’ve been using these two products from Kiehl’s quite a while now and I am proud to say that I’ve found what works best for me. 3. „The Little Dictionary Of Fashion“ by Christian Dior ($15) I love to sit on the couch on a Sunday, drink …

2 Ways To Get Curly Hair Without Heat

Hey guys! So last week Universal contacted me with the request for a feature on their blog. (Click here to be redirected to Universal’s post.) They wanted me to write a post about how to get wavy and curly hair without the use of heat. I thought that the idea of writing a post like this is super cool. Here’s the result. I hope you enjoy. 🙂 After researching the net for several hours, reading articles about heatless wavy hair and watching a ton of YouTube videos I found two methods which stood out most. I think that they are really handy and easy. Because I’ve never done curls without using a curling iron or a hair straightener, this will be a first impression for me too! In the picture below you can see the starting situation. I washed my hair and let it air-dry for half an hour. Because I have a lot of hair and they are really thick, it would take several hours for me to get them dry when bound together like that. …

Twilly & Bandana: Outfit Inspiration, Ways To Wear & Where To Buy

Hey guys! Today I felt like writing a new post in the “trend” category. I bought some fashion magazines in the last weeks and now I feel really inspired to not only recreate a few looks I discovered there, but also share with you some trend-inspirations! Fashion magazines are for me the #1 source of inspiration. My absolute favorite magazine is InStyle. As much as I love to flick through luxurious magazines like Vogue with the most expensive stuff in them, interviewing the creme de la creme of the fashion business and showing the readers the most loved trends and outfits, it is too expensive for me and there are too many adverts, I think. What I like most about InStyle is that they always show cheaper alternatives. What about you? Are you a fashion magazine reader? And what is your #1 source of inspiration? Tell me in the comment section below! Now I would like to start off with today’s topic: Willy scarves and Bandanas. A Willy scarf is a small rectangular, longish scarf and a Bandana is a …

Patched Denim Jacket

Another inspiration post! Patched denim and patches in general are something I really liked in 2016. As you may know, I really like dressing myself rather casual, but pimping the outfit up with one eye-catching piece. I fell in love with the customizable denim jackets from Rails LA where you can put a patch on the back with your name on it. Super cool idea! Gucci also had a lot of patched denim stuff in their 2016/17 collections! It went from patched jeans pants to bags through to outerwear jackets. Totally in love with every single one! I think that this is also a cool idea for a do-it-yourself. What do you guys think? I have some old jeans jackets hanging in my closet, haha! Should I try and make my own patched, bleached re-done jeans jacket? I could of course write a blogpost about it! Leave me a comment with your opinion on it! Love, Laura. <3 Ein neuer Inspirations-Post! Besonders gut hat mir im vergangenen Jahr der Trend zu gepatchten und geflickte Teilen gefallen! Wie ihr möglicherweise schon wisst, greife …

Ruffles and Volants

Recently I discovered a lot of outfits with ruffles and volants in my Instagram feed. I think that this trend is by far one of my favorite ones in 2016. It is very mysterious, romantic and absolutely feminine and that’s what I really love about it. But: I think that it only looks good when the ruffled piece is the “hero” of the outfit. The rest has to be rather casual, close-fitting and plain. If you follow these steps, your outfit for sure will be an absolute eye-catcher! Mostly I fell in love with ruffled t-shirts, blouses and pullovers. Whether ruffled collars, full sleeves, back detailing or across the front – all this I find very stylish and simply wonderful. An absolute Must-Have for every Fashionista and fashion lover. Tell me what you think about ruffled pieces in the comment section below!
